Purpose of the Reporting System
Aero National Drones (AND) is committed to maintaining a safe, compliant, and professional platform. Our reporting system allows users to flag pilots who may be violating FAA regulations or exhibiting unsafe or unprofessional behavior.
Who Can Report
- Clients who have hired or interacted with a pilot
- Other pilots observing misconduct
- Verified platform users with an active account
What Can Be Reported
- FAA regulation violations (e.g. flying without proper certification, flying in restricted airspace)
- Unsafe flying behavior or reckless drone use
- Fraudulent certifications or misrepresentation
- Harassment or abusive behavior on the platform
- Repeated no-shows or job cancellations
How to Report
Reports can be submitted through:
- A dedicated “Report This Pilot” button on each pilot’s profile or job listing
- A form within the pilot’s profile that includes:
- Reason for report (dropdown)
- Optional description
- Optional file upload (photo, video, FAA warning, screenshots)
Users may choose to submit reports anonymously or attach their name and account.
What Happens After a Report is Submitted
- Report is received by the AND moderation team
- Evidence is reviewed and compared against FAA regulations and community guidelines
- Possible actions include:
- Issuing a warning
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account removal
For serious or repeated FAA violations, AND may also cooperate with the FAA or law enforcement as appropriate.
