User Account System

Client Accounts (Businesses or Individuals) 

Account Creation: 

  • Name, email, and password 
  • Choose account type: Business or Individual 
  • Optional: Phone number, profile image or logo, short bio, job type or needs 

Dashboard Features: 

  • Post new job listings 
  • View submitted jobs and their status (Open, Filled, Expired) 
  • View pilot applicants and their profiles 
  • Message pilots via secure in-platform inbox 
  • Mark jobs as “Filled” once a pilot is hired 
  • Reopen or duplicate past jobs 

Job Posting Workflow: 

  1. Client submits job form with location, date, service type, description, and optional budget 
  2. Job becomes publicly visible to verified pilots 
  3. Pilots apply with their profile and optional message 
  4. Client receives email notification and can message or select applicants 

Pilot Accounts (FAA-Certified Drone Operators) 

Account Creation: 

  • Name, email, and password 
  • FAA Part 107 certificate number and supporting info 
  • Upload gear list, services offered, and software experience 
  • Indicate availability, travel willingness, and service radius 

Verification Required: 

  • All pilots must be manually reviewed and approved before appearing publicly 
  • Verified pilots receive an email when their profile goes live 

Dashboard Features: 

  • Edit profile, services, gear, and calendar availability 
  • Browse and apply to open job listings 
  • View messages from clients and reply via inbox 
  • Track application history 
  • Receive notifications for messages and job updates 

Messaging System: 

  • Both clients and pilots use in-platform messaging 
  • No phone numbers or emails are shared unless voluntarily disclosed 
  • Messages trigger real-time email alerts via SendGrid 

Security and Account Moderation 

  • Users must be logged in to access dashboards and messaging 
  • AND may suspend accounts for misuse, harassment, fraud, or FAA violations 
  • Clients and pilots can report misconduct through profile reporting tools 
  • All messages are stored securely and may be audited by AND for safety enforcement
